The quest is designed for 2-6 players.
The quest will last for about 1 hour, but can go a bit longer, depending on the age and number of players.
A family in one household can easily play this quest by simply printing a set of clues and using them together, while going through the quest.
You need to set up a zoom meeting (or any other video chat platform), send the printout with clues to all players and login into the game.
Just email the pdf document with the clues to all players. They can print it out in either color or black and white.
There are hints available for every step of the quest. You will also get instructions with solutions for each step of the quest. The game is designed to be challenging, but not too challenging. You should not see the kids struggling with any puzzles, but if they do, help them out by reading the hint with them.
You can use any video conferencing platform for the game. All you need to have is the ability to share screen and a “gallery view” of all participants. Another great alternative to Zoom is Google Meet.
The kids can take as long as they need to finish the game. The clock will just show 0 minutes, but the game will go on for as long as needed.
You can play the game as many times as you’d like. You can simply clear the browser cache after each game to reset the clock and to make sure no passwords are saved.
